Artist/creator: Patrick Loughran

Artist biography: Patrick Loughran made this prototype for cup designs while he was still working in New York City. He has since moved to Paris where he has become one of the leading figures in the French ceramics world. He received a BA degree in Political Science from Columbia University in 1970 and an MA in Sculpture and Crafts from Teachers College, Columbia University in 1975.

Description: 5 piece plate setting consisting of a large plate, medium plate, small bowl, cup and saucer, all of which stack up one atop the other. High gloss finish with aqua blue, black lines and white design. The rims of all the pieces are edged in gold.
