    Learn all about the objects in the Global Language of Headwear, including Suzanne Sugg's collection of Chinese children's hats.

    Stacey Miller, Rochester NY, Curator of the Global Language of Headwear, will discuss the hats in the exhibit and how she brought the collection together.

    Pamela Najdowski, Santa Fe, NM, will tell us more about the Chinese children’s hats from Suzanne Suggs’s collection, also on display.

    The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts in partnership with the San Angelo Hispanic Heritage Museum & Cultural Center together are hosting a delightful exhibit - Tamaladas: A Family Tradition. This informative showcase from the Mexican American Museum of Texas will feature essays and photographs from families across Texas who participate in tamalada: the traditional Mexican gathering or party specifically for making tamales.
     
    Join us in the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts Grand Hall for the opening reception on November 21st. Our reception is FREE and open to the public and will feature live music and fresh tamales
