Ceramic Workshop with Randy Brodnax

($25.00 per person)
At the Old Chicken Farm Art Center
From 1 pm until 6 pm Randy Brodnax will lead participants in a workshop of raku and alternative firing techniques and throwing thin on the wheel. Participants will build and fire the kilns. Work will continue on Friday, and Saturday will be a kiln opening. Participants are encouraged to bring bisque work to glaze and fire.

23rd San Angelo National Ceramic Competition Exhibit Opening
The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts hosts a juried ceramic competition every two years. The competition is open to all artists who are residents of the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

 Cancelled "A Taylored Legacy" is a tribute exhibition to the late Elmer Taylor. The exhibition will highlight the work of potters who were influenced by Elmer. He was a Professor Emeritus at the University of North Texas. Artists include Jim Bob Salazar, Candice Granger, and Von Venhuizen.

Sunday, April 19 · 12 noon - 5 pm

Artists include: Rickie Barnett, Christina Bothwell, Debra Broz, Lynne Hobaica, Richard W. James, Ryan Wilson Kelly, Jamie Lea Wade, Jess Wade, and Nick Wedell.

Join us for Downtown San Angelo & Cultural Arts District Downtown Stroll. Downtown Stroll showcases some of the best art, food, and fun that Downtown San Angelo has to offer. We encourage you to take advantage of the the free trolley service that is available during the DOWNTOWN STROLL.

From 5:00 to 9:00 pm, however the museum stays open from 4:00 to 9:00 pm. For more information click HERE.
