Every third Saturday, San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts hosts Family Day from 10 AM—2 PM all across the museum. Kids of all ages are invited to experience educational art and science activities! STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) projects at SAMFA are designed to teach kids all about our changing exhibits in the museum through hands-on, educational experiences.

Upstairs, enjoy access to our museum galleries as well as a free book giveaway provided by the San Angelo Adult Literacy Council. In the Grand Hall, kids can create 3D models. In the Education Studio (located in the breezeway to the left of the main museum), students can participate in the main Family Day activities that relate to our monthly STEAM theme! Across the breezeway is the Concho Clay Studio, where kids can let their imagination run wild with air-dry clay for free, and an instructor will be there to guide beginners through the clay creation process.
