We close this season’s Chamber Music Series with a special addition: a high-energy concert with the West Texas Jazz Orchestra. Founded in 2003 by drummer and bandleader James Bode, this 16-piece big band brings together some of the finest jazz musicians in the region. Featuring a classic lineup of saxophones, trombones, trumpets, and rhythm section, the ensemble is dedicated to performing authentic arrangements from the golden age of big band—reviving the iconic sounds of legends like Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, and Count Basie.
