The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts proudly presents Jazz at Sundown: West Texas Jazz Orchestra, an upbeat evening of big band jazz presented in a relaxed happy-hour atmosphere with live music, social energy, and a dance floor.

The West Texas Jazz Orchestra brings the excitement and sophistication of the big band tradition to a vibrant evening setting designed for both listening and dancing. Featuring some of the finest jazz and studio musicians in West Texas, the ensemble delivers a high-energy program that spans swing-era classics, Latin grooves, and contemporary big band arrangements.
Presented as a 6:00 p.m. happy-hour style event, this concert invites audiences to enjoy great music in a social atmosphere where tables, conversation, and a dance floor are part of the experience. From driving brass sections to expressive solo features, the orchestra showcases the timeless appeal of jazz as both concert art and community celebration.
