Andres Gonzales has been working with the Museum since 2004. He is a graduate of Angelo State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. He has special interest in Latin American artists, folk art and folk lore, and his painting style is mostly influenced by Mexican Folk art with bright, vivid colors and images.

He is currently working with the Curator of Education at SAMFA on developing outreach program for the elderly based on the museum’s permanent collection and current exhibits. As a docent he is researching new programs to bring to SAMFA to open its doors to individuals diagnosed with Stage 1 and Stage 2 Alzheimer’s.
