    Features visually compelling  urban landscapes by world renowned  Italian painter Marco Sassone, inspired by the relationship between reality as it is presented to us in the media and the reality of actual experience.

    Jayne Duryea: Glass in the Heart of Texas

    Presenting  three-dimensional  works  by Texas artist Jayne Duryea, focusing on light and color  with a deep connection to nature, created through traditional Italian glass blowing techniques.


    Para La Familia:

    Paintings by Ricardo Hernandez and Fidencio Duran features narrative works by two extraordinary Texas artists, who draw from their own personal and family histories to create their paintings.


    Future Lab

    The sixth installment of SAMFA’s popular Visions and Choices series, where the citizens of San Angelo are offered the chance to define and present their own concepts for the future of our community.


    West Texas Triangle: Danville Chadbourne

    A retrospective of the art of sculptor Danville Chadbourne. This exhibit will explore the artist's creative use and adaptation of vessel forms over the course of his career.


    Three Centuries of American Glass

    A survey of works, selected from SAMFA's newly acquired collections of glass, spanning from our Colonial Era through our post-World-War II period.

    250 Years of American Art Masterpieces

    This permanent collection from the New Britain Museum of American Art includes 150 masterpieces spanning two hundred and fifty years of our nation's art history from John Singleton Copley, Frederic Church, Thomas Cole, Georgia O'Keeffe, Thomas Hart Benton, Sol LeWitt, to name a few. The collection is especially rich in American Impressionism. Mary Cassatt, William Merritt Chase, Theodore Robinson, Childe Hassam, John Henry Twachtman, Julian Alden Weir, Willard Metcalf, Frank Benson, Frederick Frieseke, Richard Miller, Arthur Clifton Goodwin, Ernest Lawson, Maurice Prendergast, and Guy Wiggins are all well represented.
