After a decade of residing at The Cactus Hotel, beginning February 1, 2005
the Art Museum will move its' Children's Art Museum activities to our new
building at One Love Street. We believe this will be more convenient for the
community, more efficient for the museum and ultimately allow us to offer
a wider array of programs. Also, with the COOP Gallery space that we have
created at our Oakes St. properties, we will be able to exhibit more of the
wonderful art produced by the children who participate in our programs. As
we look to the future, we will want the input of community members and especially
art educators. We are deeply grateful for Lee Pfluger for allowing us to use
the space at the Cactus Hotel for all of these years.
Our new Art Thursdays program is just the beginning of our exciting changes to our Children's Art Museum.
