Ailey II

Through the generosity of the Beverly and Ben Stribling Special Exhibition Trust the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts   will present the world-renowned Ailey II dance company. The Museum is partnering with the San Angelo Civic Ballet to bring this wonderful performance to our community.  The Alvin Ailey Company has earned a reputation as one of the most acclaimed international ambassadors of American culture, promoting the uniqueness of the African-American cultural experience and the preservation and enrichment of American modern dance. With February being African American History Month, we truly feel this is a perfect opportunity to bring the performance to our area.
